Due to a few technical difficulties with our web site, we have implemented a new site format so we can focus on
providing timely updates during Boys State 2009. On this new site format, you will find information about our schedule for the week, a
photo gallery that will be updated, and information on election results. Items updated tonight:
Welcome to The American Legion Boys State of Minnesota website. We are excited about our 61st session and our 3rd year on the beautiful Southwest Minnesota State University campus in Marshall, Minnesota. The 2009 session of the Minnesota Boys State is June 14 - 20. This year we are expecting over 450 delegates! I would like for you to be part of this year's class.
The purpose of this site is to better explain what you can expect from your Boys State experience. If I can be of assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
The efforts of many people and organizations are necessary to provide such a program for more than 450 of Minnesota's best. A dedicated staff of volunteers organize the program and guide the delegates throughout the week. In addition, many American Legion Posts sponsor delegates and financially support Boys State. The gratitude of the MN Boys State staff goes out to all.
